Been a while since I’ve done one of these. And hoo boy, have I got plenty to give you!
Firstly, you may have noticed an absence of Energia chapters these last few months. That’s my bad. I haven’t been working on that project for a little while now, and it will probably be a little bit before I hop back onto it. My apologies for not having communicated that earlier.
Why is Energia missing? Well, simple. I’ve been putting the pedal on the metal for Threads of Reality. And I’m happy to announce that the edited draft is finally complete! I’ve already put it into the hands of a small handful of beta readers. Once I get their feedback, I’ll be leaping back in for one final draft. Until then, I’ll be taking a break from book writing and focus on the blog.
In case you’re curious, here are the final stats for the first Threads of Reality book.

- Chapters: 17 + Prologue + Epilogue
This was easily the largest story I’ve written so far and work on it has been exhausting. So I’m gonna let my creative muscles rest and focus on reviews and other articles for the blog. Which is partly why Energia is going to be on hold for a little while longer.
Now, when it comes time to publish, I won’t likely be releasing Threads of Reality first. My current plan is to write a few short novellas and self-publish those in quick succession. After that, I’ll set about releasing ToR. Until then, whenever that may be, it will sit on the shelf. By the time I get around to publishing that, I will likely have begun work on the second book.
As for the novellas, its still too early in development on those to share any details. But I have some fun plans for those and I can’t wait to share them with you.
But that’s all for later. Like I’ve said, the blog is going to be my primary focus for the next little while. I’ll probably start book writing again around March, maybe April. Until then, it’s all blogging for me.
As for what you can expect on that, I’ve got a few things in mind. Reviews of the Berserk and One Piece mangas are going to continue, as well as my coverage of the Wheel of Time book series and the Metal Gear games. I’ve also got a few smaller reviews coming your way that I’m excited to tackle. And of course, I’ll continue coverage of Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District arc until that ends.
