Original Release: June 2nd, 2018
Oh my fucking god this episode feels like it should’ve been way longer. I actually forgot the episode was twenty minutes long until it was over. And the funny thing is, only three things really happened this episode.
1. Aizawa manages to deflect the media and protect UA’s reputation
2. All Might and some other pro heroes break into the villain bar and momentarily capture the bad guys before an army of Nomus mysteriously appear and attack
3. Deku and friends discover the Nomu factory before All-For-One annihilates all the pro heroes who came there
Overall, this episode was another really good one.
That is, up until All-For-One finally steps up to plate. Then it becomes spectacular.
Do you remember the hallway scene from Rogue One? The one where Darth Vader slaughters all the rebel troopers while dramatic music plays? Yeah, it’s kinda like that.
Yes, I know I said I wouldn’t talk about Star Wars anymore, shut up.
My point is, both the scene where he actually attacks and the aftermath scene after the credits were so fucking cool. In less then two minutes, they managed to create the single most intimidating and powerful villain the series has seen yet.
And I love a good villain.
