Mob Review 100 S2 E11: Stepping Up to Plate

We’ve finally gone Full Shounen! Non-stop action, the hero telling the others to leave it to him, hell, we’ve even got a character screaming about ‘Justice’! On top of all that, we’ve got a supremely powerful villain that puts everyone else to shame!

In this episode, the battle escalates further than ever before. Mob and friends engage in their greatest battles yet. However, they’re all left beaten and tired at the doorstep to the final confrontation. Will Claw’s leader prove too powerful for even Mob to handle?

This episode was basically non-stop action. Practically everyone gets a chance to fight and show off their different abilities. Even Reigen gets to shine, and it’s both hype and hilarious. This episode features some of the best animated, well choreographed and exciting action in the whole season.

We also get to see the main themes of the series further explored. Mob expresses some of his first non-explosive rage when faced by Claw’s underlings. He expresses his frustration towards people who rely entirely on their powers and see others as lesser beings. He even calls them out, asking if they could grow vegetables or run a business without their powers. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch, and it’s a great cap to Mob’s development.

Unfortunately, that’s about as much as I can discuss without spoilers. All in all, this is one of the best episodes in the series. It’s got some phenomenal action and wonderful character moments. I’m stoked as hell to see where the story goes from here, as it’s getting higher in stakes than ever before.

Now, it’s time for your daily dose of “Watch Mob Psycho 100”. Here we go. Ready?
