Well. That escalated quickly.
In this episode, Mob goes on the war path, as Claw has reappeared and started trouble in his life yet again. Meanwhile, Claw declares war upon the whole world and begins their mission for global domination. Can Mob and friends stop them? Or will the new Elite 5 prove too much for our heroes to face?
When it comes to content, this episode is very light. It’s a whole bunch of table setting that sets up for the remaining episodes of the season. We meet a whole bunch of new villains, all of whom seem really interesting and intimidating. There’s a few action scenes sprinkled throughout, and they certainly are visually appealing and well done, but they lack in much plot significance.
Easily one of my favorite things about this episode is Mob himself. He has gone full anime protagonist here, laying dudes out left and right and wasting no time to get what he wants. We get to see a whole new side of Mob in this episode, and it’s awesome to see.
We also get to see the current state of several characters from season one that we haven’t seen in this season yet. It’s charming to catch up with these characters again, and even more so considering where they’ve come from. However, we won’t know just how far they’ve grown and developed until the season continues.
Unfortunately, if I wanted to go into any more depth, that would involve spoilers. And I’m already spoiling a bit too much, if you ask me. So I’m going to stop right there and leave things off here.
I’ll say the same damn thing every time. But it needs to be said again. If you aren’t watching this show, you need to fix that. Things are reaching their peaks, so now is the best time to binge and catch up.
