The last episode was all laughs. So naturally, it’s time for the exact opposite! That’s right, it’s time for self reflection, emotional extremes and feelings of total isolation!
In this episode, Mob and Reigen are swamped with jobs! Reigen’s new website is bringing in client after client, and they’re busier than ever before! But when one job pushes Mob against the wall, he must look within himself to find the right course of action, and Reigen comes to a realization regarding the emotional state of his student.
Holy shit, this episode is powerful! Sure, it’s very light on the comedy, but that drama hits like a truck! And unfortunately: it’s basically impossible to talk about without spoilers! Because god damn I don’t want to spoil this episode!
This episode gives us something we’ve never seen before in the show and it’s absolutely great! It plays with some incredible visuals, both in regards to the animation and the direction, and the performances make it all the more powerful! This may be one of the best looking episodes in the series yet, and that’s saying a lot considering the standards this season alone has set for itself!
Unfortunately, that’s all I can really say about it without going into spoilers. It’s a great looking episode with an incredibly powerful moment. If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to fix that. It’s fantastic, and it’s got me super excited to see where the rest of the season goes!
Sorry this one was so short. I want you guys to watch this show as blind as possible, or else it won’t be nearly as powerful. But hey, on the bright side, at least it’s a short read.
