Writer’s Diary: June 2025 Update

I’ll be real with you folks: I have spent upwards of twenty minutes trying to write a clever or witty opening to this article. But I’m coming up blank. Let’s just get right into it. I’m gonna keep things short this month.

First, an update on ‘Father of Monsters‘. Progress on the final draft has been going smoothly. More so than I had anticipated, actually. If I had to put a percentage on it, I’d estimate it at roughly 40-45% completion. The goal to have it done by the end of Summer stands strong, as does its tentative October release window.

On the 22nd of June, I’ll be turning 26. Now, I’ve never been one to celebrate my birthday. But I do have a little gift planned for all of you: a sneak peak into the book! I will be uploading the Prologue of ‘Father of Monsters‘ right here, completely free to read! It’s been a long time coming, and I really hope you all enjoy it!

Onto the blog. Most of my May projects had to be pushed back, so you’ll see those in June. Starting with an article on the ‘Cradle‘ series by Will Wight. After that, you can expect my promised articles on ‘Baldur’s Gate 3‘ and ‘All-Star Superman.’ You may also see an article on ‘Elden Ring: Nightreign‘ depending on how quickly I can kill the Nightlords.
