So… uh… this happened.

Alright. This is insane. Like, legit, this is nuts!
I first started blogging six years ago with a Google Blogspot site (are those still a thing?) as something to do. Sort of like an online diary. Honestly, it’s a miracle I stuck with it for any longer than a week, much less a few months!
It quickly proved to be an excellent creative outlook for me. Sure, no one was reading it. That was a really rough time in my life. Probably the worst few months of my whole life, and that’s including all of 2020! Blogging gave me something to do, a set daily task to complete that kept me grounded in the waking nightmare that had become my existence.
Thankfully, I managed to get away from that situation, and things started to get a lot better for me. So much better, in fact, that I upgraded to the WordPress site that we’re on today. After that, my readership started to grow. And, well… you can see where it’s at now.
There are so many moments that took me by surprise that I’ll always cherish and remember. Such as when my review of ‘The Demon Next Door’, an audio book about a real-life serial killer, reached the top of Google’s search list. Or when an article I wrote on Sword Art Online introduced me to the anime blogging scene, which I still keep up with today. Or the time I reviewed ‘Legends and Lattes’ and Travis Baldree, the author, actually saw it and shared it around.
Writing for this blog has helped get me through some really hard times in my life. And I have no doubt it will continue to do so. No matter how insane or difficult existing becomes, I’ll always have an outlet.
And I wouldn’t have it without you guys. So thank you. Whether you’ve read basically every single article (looking at you, Glyn Hnutu-healh!), you’ve helped me grow by sharing my articles around (terranceacrow, you are an absolute legend!), or you only popped in once and read one random article that interested you. To anyone and everyone who has ever read anything from this blog: thank you. For so many reasons, I wouldn’t be here without you.
Thank you for reading, then and now, and I hope y’all have a wonderful rest of your day!
